From Olympia, take the exit for Hwy 101/Ocean Beaches heading west. Note that Hwy 101 will turn into Hwy 8 and then Hwy 12.
Drive for about 40 miles, then take the exit for Montesano/Raymond. Turn left in Montesano for about 7 miles until you recommend to Hwy 101, and turn left toward Raymond/Astoria.
Drive 18 miles through the towns of Raymond and South Bend.
Continue on Hwy 101 for about 35 miles past the towns of Bay Center and Nemah until you come to a stop.
Turn right, which is the continuation of Hwy 101 toward Long Beach/Ilwaco.
Cross the Naselle River Bridge, and continue for 5
miles until you see the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters on
the left.
