Bald Know Campground, though seemingly unexceptional to all but hikers and bicycling campers, sits at the base of Mt. Spokane Summit, offering memorable and scenic hiking/biking opportunities.
The first of five lookout structures on Mount Spokane was built in 1933 by contractor E.O. Fieldstad using native stone found on the summit.
