Two different streams flow from the Tahuya State Forest into Hood Canal framing the campground into the Beach Loop and the Forest Loop.

The Beach Loop is open, sunny, grassy, and has most of the hookups and ADA sites.

The Forest Loop is the most private, shady, secluded, and contains hiker/biker sites

The Theler Wetlands sits at the extreme eastern tip of Hood Canal, providing remarkable wildlife viewing:

The City of Belfair is shown to the far right, at the tip of Hood Canal. The State Park is three miles west, on the northern shore of the Canal.
