The campground is physically separate from the Day Use Area, and requires a short walk.
The Day Use Area is fastidiously tended by camp host and caretaker Todd.
The Kamiak Butte Trail is considered a National Natural Landmark
At the end of your camping day, don't forget to take the smaller Sunset Trail that surrounds the campground to watch the skies explode with color.
