Mora Campground is named for the one-time supply town of the same name to commemorate owner K.O. Ericson's home town in Sweden. His hotel/store occupied the spot where the campground's campfire circle is now built.
The Quileute River was visible behind our site on Loop E, and also from Rialto Beach.
Rialto Beach stretches from the north side of the Quileute River to the volcanic tidepools just beyond the Hole-in-the-Wall, a natural tunnel carved by centuries of wave activity.
The tidy tribal town of LaPush, on the south end of the mouth of the Quileute River, is home to many seastacks that are often shrouded in lacy fog and sea mist.
