The Upper East Entrance sites are the most private, but a bit dark and away from Troublesome Creek and North Fork Skykomish River:

The Lower East Entrance sites, however, border Troublesome Creek; some also have views of North Fork Skykomish River. These are arguably the best in the campground, based on privacy and views of the Creek.

Connecting the two halves of the campground is a footbridge over Troublesome Creek, leading to a Day Use Area consisting of 3 campsites of its own (day use only):

The West Entrance campsites are by far the most popular, and have the best access to the Camp Host. These sites fill up quickly on weekends.

Some of the sites are along Troublesome Creek, with direct access:

One of two wheelchair-accessible sites:

The rest of the West Entrance sites are on North Fork Skykomish River, and include some remarkable walk-in sites (with a very short walk and good parking).

Beyond the walk-in sites lies the "Beach" on North Fork Skykomish River:

Lake Blanca: a 3.5-mile hike from the campground.
