Photos: Brown Creek Campground

Several campsites lie on Brown Creek itself...

... while most are on two loops closer to Brown Creek Pond:

The big draw of this campground is the trail around Brown Creek Pond. It can be quite low in the summer, but the trail is still a gem, with its interpretive signs, lush trees and foliage, and wildlife viewing:

A big attraction in the area is the "Big Steel Bridge" crossing the South Skokomish River just south of Brown Creek Campground. The views are spectacular.

Mount Rainier can be seen far to the east on the drive back from the campground.
